Just before the holidays started, the girls were told by their ballet teacher, if they got bored, they were to practice their exam dances. I asked them a few days before the new term was to start, if they had practiced... Jemma replied honestly: "No, Mommy. I haven't had time to be bored yet!" I'm not quite sure how to break that to the ballet teacher!!
We enjoyed the "school" holidays so much, even though we did a bit of work in between all the fun stuff... it was great to have the freedom of no afternoon activities, and just do what we pleased each day. Wish we could have 5 weeks off every year!!

ReplyDeletewe have 9 weeks of summer holidays overhere, a bit too long i think... it takes a while to get the kids used to school again ;)
