Snail Mail Letters and Precious Parcels!!

While doing a lesson about letter writing, we decided to do a "snail mail" letter to my sister in London, and see how long it takes to arrive.  The kids each wrote her a letter, Tyla addressed the envelope, and off we went to the Post Office.

They were rewarded for their efforts when we found out there was a parcel waiting for us!!!!!



Dear Aunty Tracy (my sister) had sent each child a craft kit, to keep those little fingers and minds active..... We just love parcels, and they normally ask if we can check the mail box regularly (sometimes daily!) to see if there are any parcels. 
Jemma ripped the envelope open in the car, not waiting till we got home.  What a nice treat. Thanks Aunty Trace!!
As you see, they got started immediately, the afternoon flew by.....and the dolls are almost done... will post pictures soon.
