Cape Town has come alive..... School is out..... Soccer is in......!!!
There is a wonderful festive atmosphere everywhere, with flags flying on almost every car,The city is alive as are the shopping centres, echoing with the vuvuzelas' call....
Winter is also beckoning, with a chill in the air......
We heard a rumour of snow on "The Mountain", so we dressed for the occasion and went hunting for it....
Unfortunately..... no snow.... but we were not disappointed......
We enjoyed a splendid view of our new stadium from Signal Hill..... and got caught up in the pre-game excitement of the day at the Waterfront....
(then we dashed back home to safety and supper!!)

It is so much fun to enjoy things with our children when they experience them for the first time....

A rare privilege .... to slow down and enjoy life, instead of letting it rush by.
Thank the Lord for the small blessings he sprinkles through everyday life!!
